Founded in 1962, List Engineering Company has developed a broad base of experience while specializing in remodel/rehabilitation projects. As mechanical engineers, special expertise is offered in the areas of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing, process piping, and fire protection. Design documents and construction support are services offered in conjunction with feasibility studies, master planning, life cycle cost analysis, operation and maintenance manuals and energy audits.

Technical currency is maintained by participation in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers, American Society of Plumbing Engineers, the Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of California, the American Council of Engineering Companies, National Fire Protection Agency and United States Green Building Council.

Concerning our design approach, we take pride in developing practical, cost effective, and maintenance oriented solutions. We try to balance aesthetics, user needs, the maintenance department, and the project scope and budget. We recognize the importance of the fieldwork and documenting existing conditions.

List Engineering Company has completed many projects that have gone through the Division of the State Architect, Office of the Statewide Health Planning and Development and the State Fire Marshall’s office, both as a consultant and as prime designer.

We use AutoCAD 2002 and Microstation J for our CAD software. Other software programs include the Trane Company CDS series and Energy Pro for Title 24 documentation.
